greater support to U.S. customers, and enable closer partnerships with
leading Silicon Valley EDA and semiconductor companies.
"Esterel Technologies' executable specifications and automatic test and code

will provide these same quality and productivity benefits for the developers
of systems-on-a-chip in all semiconductor application areas. Our expansion
in the U.S., headed by Jean-Marc Talbot, and the addition of Linda Prowse
Fosler as worldwide VP of marketing, are two important steps in our company'
s growth and our ability to serve the U.S. market."

years he specialized in technical computing and simulation. Prior to
Simulog, Dr. Talbot was head of the scientific computing department at

emulator for SoC design verification, which grew market share from 0 to 35%
in four years. She was also a key contributor to IKOS when they doubled
revenue in three years, from $35 million to $70 million. Before IKOS, Ms.
Prowse Fosler held various positions at Cadence Design Systems, Tandem
